In the suburbs of Makhachkala, law enforcement officersfound a mining farm illegally connected to the power grid. The damage from her work is estimated at over 34 million rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan said.
The equipment was found in a non-residential building of a construction base. The organizer of the farm rented the premises in May, law enforcement officials said.
During the search, the police found 518 devices for mining cryptocurrencies.
A criminal case has been initiated for causing property damage by deception or abuse of trust.
