One of the largest crypto exchangesUSA Kraken announced the start of work in Australia, reports CoinDesk.
The trading platform has already added support for the Australian dollar (AUD).
</p>AUD became the seventh fiat-supported currency after the US and Canadian dollars, Swiss francs, euros, British pounds and Japanese yens.
“We are excited to launch Kraken Australia at a timewhen Australian investors are increasingly turning to cryptocurrencies to diversify their portfolios, ”said Jonathon Miller, Managing Director of the division.
Kraken Australia users will be able to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, Bitcoin Cash. stablecoin USDT and other crypto assets in pairs with the Australian dollar.
Recall, despite the global economic crisis, in April Kraken increased its staff by 10%.
