The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has determined the rules for accounting transactions with digital rubles

Ministry of Finance of the RussianThe Federation announced that accounting for transactions with the digital ruble should be carried out on the basis of the general rules of RAS (Russian Accounting Standards).

Representatives of the department believe thatorganizations must keep records of transactions related to the circulation and use of digital rubles, according to the general rules for accounting for funds and settlements, “established by federal accounting standards and accounting regulations.”

Transactions with the digital ruble are reflected inbalance of an additional synthetic account based on information provided to the organization by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation through a participant in the digital ruble platform. At the same time, transactions with digital rubles are reflected in the accounting forms of any organization in the general manner.

Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Alexey Zabotkin said that the regulator intends to consider the issue of virtual “coloring” of digital rubles to track transactions.
