The police were never able to identify and apprehend the thieves. The next time, the burglars prepared even more thoroughly - by turning off the alarm and security cameras, they took out all the remaining mining devices. The total damage from the two incidents amounted to 22 million rubles.

“An inspection is being carried out, the issue of initiating a criminal case for theft under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is being decided,” law enforcement officers say.

In April, police in the Irkutsk region managed to detect and liquidate an underground mining hotel with 200 devices.
